I think the trend will continue, but I don't think fossil fuels will go away completely until alternatives from fossil fuel byproducts are accepted by the general public. The irony is Texas, my state, is one of the leading states to emphasize solar energy and other renewable sources of energy.

You are likely correct, and Texas has the infrastructure problem nearly as bad as the rest of the south. None of it really matters at this point and Fusion is about ten years away and 40 years too late. The damage has been done and we will get a full Century of this resulting mess before we figure out ways to deal with it and many will die while we figure it out....if we can.

I think Al Gore warned us about climate change, funny man who surely would have done a worse job then W of running the country. So did these two guys in 2000. Perhaps Art Bell had a better track record than Alex Jones. The Today show from 2000.

The biggest problem with our infrastructure, especially roadways, is that by the time they finish construction, it is time for more construction. It is why I like options, like the Texas Bullet Train from SA to Houston to Dallas type of thing. For fusion reactors, the biggest problem and the biggest setback came in the 1980s when two researchers claimed they have solved cold fusion it turned out to be a hoax and not worth the paper it was printed on. That set back cold fusion research a decade or two. But I do like the idea because it will easily convert nuclear reactors to fusion reactors without all the nuclear waste to go with it.

I still consider Obama and Biden the only competent Presidents of this century. In a way Pence did more for his country than the other two Reds by insuring orange disaster was removed from office.

I consider Bill Clinton the most competent President since FDR, he was also the most "conservative" president since Reagan. Bush Sr lost because of Ross Perot and he is by far the smartest president of them all. I really liked him, but was suprised by Clinton. Clonton's only big downside was his zipper and couldn't keep is zipped up when he was Arkansas AG, Governor or President.
