How did Trump get these documents out of the White House in the first place? If the boxes contained secret and top secret documents, the boxes themselves would be plainly marked as such. Anyone in contact with classified material, or responsible for moving them, without the proper security clearance, or authorization, is in jeopardy of possible prison time.
And as for declassifying government documents, there is a process in place for that. No way can the President or anyone else declassifying anything just by saying so. Anything that has been properly declassified, is plainly marked as being so. Every document must be gone through line by line and maybe have parts being redacted.
