Nothing is public unless a member decides to make it so. The profile page allows for complete privacy and I have no MODS here. I realise that. If you appointed someone a mod here though they would be able to see other people's data. As a mod I can edit every post, set word filters, resolve reports and take actions including banning but I can't add or remove sections or add a sticky to a thread etc. The site owner has access to all the fine tuning. I do not intend to designate Moderators here, any discipline will be through community consensus unless Spam or outright tolling in which case I reserve the right to eliminate. This is an experiment into forum democracy and human nature and I have time for it.

I posted a link here to see if anyone could read posts here. 2 tried but one could and the other couldn't. That sounds like a setting issue in their computer, they should be able to view it all. That's helpful. Is that a default setting or does the owner have to choose to make it open to the public? I apologise for being so demanding. You are the person most likely to know how Proboards works that I know.

This place we are trying to build is more of a light moderation free to say anything type site because that is what the original was. Too much trolling and abuse for your liking I suspect. More the kind of thing you're trying to move away from.

The original site is due to close anytime from the 15th. It should get a final burst of registrations after that.

I'll try to contribute something to the Europe section when I have more time. A lot going on at the moment with a new PM and a new Monarch.
