"This week, as NASA reports, the findings from space on the condition of the Earth have been especially troubling. In a pair of papers—one published in Nature and one in Earth System Science Data—researchers analyzed 25 years of sightings from a fleet of seven American and European satellites surveying the Antarctic, and had grim tidings. According to the papers, the loss of mass from Antarctica’s ice shelves—or ice that protrudes past the coastline—has been twice as extensive as previously estimated. Since 1997, 12 million metric tons have been lost, the data shows, as opposed to the six million previously estimated. “Antarctica is crumbling at its edges,” Chad Greene, a postdoctoral fellow at NASA’s and Caltech’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a co-author of the Nature paper, said in a statement."

As the Tundra melts and permafrost disappears, the atmosphere gets more Methane and albedo changes to increase warming even more....this is not good in any way.

It's bloody hot here again.
This is our second heatwave of the summer so far with a high possibility of a 3rd next weekend.
Driest July on record in many places around the UK.
We've had less than a 1/4'' of rain since April.
The fires have really got the farmers worried. Whole fields going up in seconds.

Sadly, I think these are the new normal and will get worse by the year.

Do you believe it’s getting hotter because of people? Or that the climate goes through cycles. We are destroying our only home. But idk if zero emissions is possible. The steel used to manufacture windmills creates toxic waste and solar panels contain toxic chemicals. So it’s not exactly clean. We either don’t have the technology or people in charge don’t want it.

I know the cycles of our orbit around the sun as well as its longer term cyclical transit but this is happening far too quickly to be natural. We missed the window to halt or even minimize this a decade ago and instead increased our impact on the changes through atmospheric manipulations and agricultural destruction to the point the ocean albedo has reached the positive feedback scenario of no return. What we are witnessing is just the beginning of this climate change and things will be getting far more dramatic in the coming decade. The point of prevention has passed and the point of preparation is upon us. The shift to "Green Energy" is rather pointless anymore because we should be getting ready for what we have already done.
Just the existing CO2 will take another 20 years to even kick in and though the Methane will dissipate over a decade the melting permafrost will quadruple it at the same time. Basically we no longer have any control over this if we ever did so it's time to buckle up for the rough ride....makes me glad I won't live to see the worst of it but my Kids are Fubar.

Have you heard of the HAARP machine? They are shooting signals in our upper atmosphere and they didn’t even try to hide they are manipulating the weather. If that’s what they are not hiding can’t imagine what they are!

HAARP is an ionosphere research system and has nothing to do with weather control, that is a QANON spittle with no bearing in reality...I expect better quality in postings and have little tolerance for BS. There are many places to spew this type of crap but this is not one of them. Minimal research would eliminate this misconception and I would ask you take advantage of it.
